About Olivia

Olivia Blain is a realist painter based in Wilmington, NC. She graduated with a BA in Studio Art from the University of North Carolina Wilmington while also serving as captain of the UNCW Equestrian Team. Olivia studied at The Art Academy of Raritan, N.J., under renowned artist Kevin Murphy to further her technical skills.

Her work primarily includes commissioned portraits and original paintings of horses, animals, and coastal landscapes.

The Breed Series

What started as a challenge to paint every day turned into original watercolors of each horse breed. Each original painting is matted and signed, and no two are alike. More breeds are added each week, and requests can be made through the Contact Form
